Westcave Preserve
Westcave is a nature preserve on the outskirts of Austin that features a lush grotto with cypress trees, orchids and a waterfall that cascades 30 feet into a beautiful pool. Westcave's Warren Skaaren Environmental Learning Center includes exhibits, interactive features and classroom space.

Hours Public tours on Saturday& Sunday at 10:00 am, 12:00 noon, 2:00 pm, and 4:00 pm. Open weekdays to group tours by reservation.

Accessibility The Learning Center is ADA compliant, but the trail to the cave is not wheelchair accessible.
Directions Take Highway 71 through Bee Cave to Hamilton Pool Road. Turn left and proceed 14 miles. The entrance is on the right, just past the low-water bridge at the Pedernales River.
