130 sculptures by Charles Umlauf, a prolific and internationally
known sculptor, are shown in the museum and outside in a xeriscape
garden. His sculptures range from detailed realism to lyrical
abstractions. Using a wide variety of materials with equal ease,
Umlauf sculpted family groups, animals, mythological, and religious
figures.
