Walking through the Texas State Cemetery is like reading a history
of Texas. Almost every aspect of Texas' past is represented
on the picturesque 18 acres in East Austin. Notables, such as
Stephen F. Austin, "Bigfoot" Wallace, John Connally,
Barbara Jordan, and Bob Bullock, along with hundreds of Confederate
veterans, lend their personal stories that together make up
Texas' history.

Take the 8th -
3rd Street Exits (234B) off IH-35. Take access road to
7th Street and head east. Drive six blocks up 7th and
turn right on Navasota. The Visitors Center is on the
right.
