O. Henry Museum
Famous for the short story, "The Gift of the Magi," O. Henry (William Sydney Porter) lived in this 1891 Victorian cottage. His experiences as journalist, draftsman, bank teller, and with the Texas Rangers are reflected in his short stories. Memorabilia from the author's life in Austin furnish this National Literary Landmark.
