Wildflower Road Show
It’s spring which means hundreds of people are driving to the Texas Hill Country to view wildflowers. Hop on the Wildflower Road Show bus and enjoy the beauty of the wildflowers without the hassle of driving. Not only can you enjoy the wildflowers, learn about them with the Wildflower Center’s Director of Horticulture Andrea DeLong-Amaya. Discover the variety of wildflowers native to Central Texas and learn about their role within the landscape. Find out how you can bring these native beauties into your own home garden. After lunch enjoy a wine tasting at Becker Vineyards while enjoying yet another view of wildflowers along with fields of lavender. Join us in celebrating the views along our Texas highways preserved in part by the work of Mrs. Johnson and The Beautification Act of 1965. Tour is held rain or shine.
Fee: $125.00 per non-member and $112.50 per Wildflower Center Member
