Public Art Tour: Gesture and Movement

Gesture is a term often used to describe an active line or brushstroke in a painting or drawing. In three-dimensional works of art, gesture is suggested in the dynamic flow and movement found in sculptural elements. Join Landmarks, the public art program of The University of Texas at Austin, to explore gesture on a docent-led tour of the works in UT’s public art collection

Meet on Sunday, March 6 at 11 a.m. in front of Mark di Suvero’s Clock Knot near East Dean Keeton Street and Speedway (map). Free and open to the public.
