Music on the Porches

 Music on the Porches

Music is everywhere we want it to be and whenever we want it to be: on our phones, in our cars, and just about everywhere we go–even when we’re alone. But if you wound the clock back by a century or so, music would have been something we either made for ourselves or came together to make and hear. Music on the Porches is a collaboration between Austin historic sites to bring us back to musicmaking as it was in the beginnings of the live music capitol of the world.
