Menuhin Violin Competition at the Blanton Museum

The Blanton Museum of Art hosts performances in conjunction with the Menuhin International Violin Competition, the preeminent violin competition for musicians under age 22. At 10am, Master luthier Dr. Charles Ervin discusses the difference between modern violins and Baroque violins, with demonstrations of the sound of each. At Noon, musicians perform in competition.
