Nature Nights at Wildflower Center
The Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center will host three free Nature Nights in July with engaging activities and experts on Central Texas nature topics. Thursdays from 6 to 9 p.m. (excluding July 4), join the Center for unique learning experiences, imaginative crafts and fun activities. On July 11, don’t miss the chance to see live raptors and dissect an owl pellet to figure out what its most recent meal was. On July 18, kids will learn about local mammals and make take-home animals tracks. The last Nature Night on July 25 is all about our slithery friends the snakes, with the chance to see real, live snakes. Events are sponsored by H-E-B and KVUE. Admission to the Center is free the day of and evening of Nature Nights. For additional details visit: http://wildflower.org/nature/ or call 512-232-0100.
