Engineering Day at the Science Mill
Kick off Engineering Week at the Science Mill by discovering the world of engineering through the eyes of the American Society of Civil Engineers. Design and build with a host of hands-on activities led by real-life engineering professionals! Can you design a marshmallow bridge that holds weight? How will your paper tower weather gusts of wind? What’s the key to building a skyscraper that doesn’t topple? Find the answers to these questions and so much more at this interactive day at the Science Mill. Learn tricks of the trade, basic principles of engineering and what a day in the life of a civil engineer actually looks like. Engineering Day activities are free with admission to the Science Mill. Engineering Day activities will run 12pm-4pm, the museum will be open 10am-4pm.
Admission: 0-2 years old – free, 3-18 (or with student ID) $9.50, Adults $11, Seniors (65+) $9 and Military $5.50
