Camp Wildflower Summer Camps
Join us for Camp Wildflower in Summer 2016!
Camp Wildflower will offer youth ages 6-10 years old the chance to become conservationists, botanists, horticulturists, citizen scientists and ecologists as they explore the world of the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center.
Each camp will feature inquiry based activities and hands-on outdoor learning opportunities in a fun camp setting. Camp sites will range from the gardens to the Texas Arboretum, the seed lab, the insectary, creeks and caves. Each week’s theme will highlight a professional career and campers will have the opportunity to interact with Wildflower Center staff.
At the end of each week, campers will leave camp as “junior environmental stewards” with a greater appreciation, respect and knowledge about the natural world.
