Murder, Mayhem and Misadventure Walking Tours

Save Austins Cemeteries

Join us for the 13th annual Murder, Mayhem & Misadventure Walking Tour at historic Oakwood Cemetery in Austin. The free tours cover the chilling, untimely deaths of “residents” of Oakwood portrayed by actors at their grave sites. One hour tours highlight historical – not scary – 1860s-1910s events and start every 15-20 minutes between 10 am-3:15pm near the Oakwood chapel. Accessible tours will also be available - in a golf cart - with starting times of 10:30am, noon, 1:30pm and 3pm (or as needed). Kids under adult supervision are welcome, but please leave your pets at home and wear closed-toed shoes. Sponsored by non-profit Save Austin’s Cemeteries. Donations welcome!
