From Austin with Love by the Old Bakery and Emporium Consignors Reception; July 5, 5:00-7:00 p.m. From Austin with Love Our consignors are asked to partake in a grand art exhibit in the Art Gallery. They will present a few of their finest works for a collective exhibit and we are never disappointed with the quality and diversity of art. Kevin Wymer will be providing Soft Jazz. The exhibit runs through July 31. We will be closed the week of July 15th.

Landmarks Guided Tour: Dell Medical School

Landmarks Public Art Program

Join Landmarks for an hour-long, docent-led walking tour of works in the public art at Dell Medical School. Meet your docent at the north entrance to the Health Learning Building at Dell Medical School to learn about art focused on the human body and human experience. Free and open to the public. Tours are held rain or shine. This tour will take place primarily indoors but please dress accordingly.

Jen's Gentle Yoga at Pioneer Farms This class is suitable for all shapes, sizes, and experience levels. Beginners are welcome! Students will link gentle movements with breathing techniques to build strength, flexibility, balance, and mental focus. Tiny but Mighty: Artist talk & workshop

Women & Their Work

Join Jennifer Ling Datchuk as she discusses themes present in her current exhibition, Truth Before Flowers, followed by an opportunity to craft your own macrame wall hanger with contributing artist Marta Francine. This all-levels workshop will help you learn the history and basics of macrame knotting techniques while we discuss the role of craft in art spaces. Admission to the artist talk from 11:30am-12pm is free and open to the public. The following craft activity from 12-1pm has limited space and a $5 registration fee to cover cost of materials. Old Bakery 2020 Call for Art


Annual Call for Art Old Bakery & Emporium Art Gallery 2020 - Monthly Exhibit Application open dates: July 3rd through September 15th All applicants must be 50 years or older and live in Travis County Texas or an adjacent county. The art gallery is located on the third floor of the Old Bakery & Emporium. It is a historic building located in Downtown Austin. The Bakery operates as a Consignment Shop, Visitor Information Center, Art Gallery exhibiting local artists 50 or better and houses the Lundberg-Maerki Historical Collection.
