Celebrate Chemistry Week and kick off Halloween week with chemistry fun at the Science Mill, with pyrotechnic gourds, frightening foam pumpkins, and “ghosts” and their ectoplasm! Explore 50+ interactive exhibits, Halloween-themed demonstrations and hands-on activities, and see a special showing of Flying Monsters 3D. Kids wearing a costume will get a free Halloween excavation kit! Chemistry Day activities run from 11am-2pm, but the museum is open 10am-4pm.

Join the Science Mill for Robot Mania during spring break (March 12-16)! Explore the world of robotics and participate in up to 10 hands-on robot building, programming, coding and battling stations. Activities will include conquering an obstacle course with robotic cars, programming tiny robots, robotic painting with watercolors, battling flipper bots, and more! Plus, see the Science Mill’s new 30-foot-tall Colossal Robotic Hand! The Science Mill will be open 10am until 5pm M-F of spring break week, plus regular hours on Saturday and Sunday.
