About
The Austin Museum Partnership (AMP) is a non-profit organization that promotes and facilitates collaboration within the museum community for the benefit of our museums and the community at large. Since 1998, the Austin Museum Partnership has coordinated Austin Museum Day, a community event which offers free admission and includes special programs and activities at museums and cultural institutions across the area.
Membership
Membership in the Austin Museum Partnership is open to any cultural institution, its staff, and volunteers located in the greater Austin area. Benefits include:
- Voting power at quarterly Membership Meetings
- Participation in the partnership’s annual Austin Museum Day and inclusion in promotional materials in local newspaper and other media outlets
- Institutional profiles and event listings on the Austin Museum Partnership web site
- Professional development and networking opportunities via scholarships, workshops, happy hours and the AMP listserv
